SyncWise Inc. Unveils Generation 3 Yamatrack™ Head Unit Featuring Major Performance & GPS Upgrades
SCOTTSDALE, AZ — SyncWise Inc. recently announced the launch of its Generation 3 YamaTrack™ head unit, developed by the company’s SyncIQ division. The new platform delivers significant improvements in processing power, operating system performance, connectivity options, and high-precision, RTK-ready GPS accuracy. The Gen-3 unit will debut within select Yamaha Golf Car models in 2026.
Built on a redesigned architecture, the Gen-3 head unit features a faster processor, expanded memory, and an upgrade to Android 13—providing smoother performance, improved stability, and greater long-term scalability for software and application development.
Another key enhancement; the addition of native CAN bus support—allowing the unit to communicate directly with the vehicle’s onboard systems. This enables future sensor, accessory, and diagnostic integrations without hardware redesign, expanding the platform’s capabilities as OEM requirements evolve.
The Gen-3 system also incorporates a more robust GNSS module paired with an upgraded antenna for improved signal quality and overall accuracy.For advanced positioning needs, the unit supports RTK, enabling up to 2 cm precision—a significant leap forward for fleet management, geofencing, and on-course operations.
